INFORMATION Jocams GATHERS AND TRACKS
Jocams gathers two types of information about users.
1. Information that we ask users to provide through voluntary submissions which allow us to enhance user experience, complete an order or follow up after a visit or sale. These submissions include information needed to receive our email specials mailings, complete an order, confirm an order, receive an answer to a question, make a catalog request, to refer a friend to our site or participate in polls and surveys.
2. Information Jocams gathers through aggregated tracking information derived mainly by tallying page views throughout our sites. This information allows us to better tailor our content, product selection and product presentation to customer needs and wants. USAGE TRACKING
Jocams tracks user traffic patterns throughout our site. However, we do not correlate this information with data about individual users. Jocams does break down overall usage statistics according to a users domain name, browser type, and MIME type by reading this information from the browser string, information contained in every users browser.
Jocams sometimes tracks and catalogs the search terms that users enter in our Search function, but this tracking is never associated with individual users. We use tracking information to determine which areas of our sites users prefer based on traffic to those areas. We do not track what individual users read, but rather how well each page performs overall. This helps us continue to build a better shopping experience for you.
SHARING OF THE INFORMATION
Jocams uses the above-described information to tailor our product and customer service offerings to suit your needs. At this time, we do not share information about individual users with any third party, except to comply with applicable law or valid legal process or to protect the personal safety of our users or the public.
At times, we may employ other companies and individuals to perform specific functions on our behalf. Examples include delivering packages, sending postal mail and email, removing repetitive information from customer lists, analyzing data, processing credit card payments, and providing after hours customer service. Opting not to receive our catalog or print mailings. If you place an order online or make a catalog request through our web site, your name may be included in on our database for mailing purposes. If you prefer not to receive printed catalogs, promotions and special offers from us, you can opt-out by asking to be excluded from our mailings in the Comments section of our online order form.
